Our Project Management Methodology is based on IEEE and PMBOK; our Requirement Management Specification and Change Management Process is based on IEEE standards.

Application Support & Maintenance

DCS’s application maintenance service offerings involve complete ownership of our customers’ applications.
These are provided at both ends—at the customers’ locations as well as from offshore locations. This is done through our Onsite-Offshore model where we station a small team of engineers onsite and have an offshore setup of dedicated team and infrastructure, called Offshore Development Center (ODC). We have evolved a well-defined and mature application maintenance process which allows effectively to capture the application environment and business activity. Our 7-step transition process with unique Knowledge Transfer methodology and effective documentation provide safe means in transition to offshore for greater efficiency and cost savings for customers. Each of these activities are governed and monitored by an SLA framework with focus on continuous improvement. According to the requirements and nature of the application to be maintained, we use structured or object-oriented approach/technology. We maintain mainframes, client server architecture- based and Web- based applications.
